DRILL INSTRUCTIONS
This drill was designed by Matt Pranka originally for handguns! We modified it for a rifle variant at the recommendation of Roof Korean from Firearms and Firearm Accessories. This drill is extremely easy to run, very hard to run well. Watch the video I have put together to fully understand how to run and record this drill accurately. Video submissions that do not show rifle placement, blank targets, and final hits clearly without cuts may be disqualified from winning even if it is counted as a participation.
Target 1: Place this target 5 yards from the Shooting line.
Target 2: Place This Target 12 yards from the shootiong line with ~1 foot between the two targets.
Instructions: Place your rifle at low ready with BOTH hands on your rifle with the SAFETY ON (if your safety isn’t toggled on to off at the start of this drill you will be DQ’d). Upon audible start engage target 1 with 6 rounds and immediately engage target 2 with 2 more rounds. All hits MUST be in the Alpha Zone to score.
Goodluck everyone! This is our first rifle drill and are open to other recommendations! Please watch my video for instructions and we recommend buying the linked cardboard over printing out paper targets however Standard Size USPSA Paper targets are available.
AUTHOR NOTES
This drill is essentially a modified bill drill! We have kept the par time the same although I suspect many of you will be able to burn this in 2 seconds or less. If you enjoy shooting cardboard frequently, absolutely invest in these stickers as well to cover up your shots! I collect a few targets at the end of every USPSA match when they let us take the shot up ones. Those those last an entire month of training!
