AUTHOR NOTES
The 5 Yard Roundup is a drill from Justin Dyal, and is a good benchmark for a few skills. The first string of fire should be easy for most folks, but numbers #2, #3, and #4 should prove a little challenging. It’s all about accuracy and speed. As we’ve all seen over the years, many folks don’t put enough time into strong hand or weak hand only shooting, but it’s a very important skill to work. The 5 Yard Roundup will get you to realize that pretty fast, as you may not have the speed or accuracy that you need to perform the drill with a high score.
